Daredevil Ziplines, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Where are you located?

A: Daredevil Ziplines is a part of Belle Terra Gardens and Event Facility in Rome, Georgia. We are located in picturesque Vann's Valley just outside Rome and seven miles from Cave Spring, Georgia.

Q: Do I need to make a reservation?

A: Yes. We highly recommend that you reserve your zip adventure at least 24 hours in advance as there are a limited number of persons on each tour and tours can sell out on any given day.  You can reserve by calling: 706-235-1677. You will need to pay the full amount at reservation time.

Q: What time do I need to arrive?

A: It is imperative that you arrive on time for your scheduled reservation.  Arriving on time allows for a relaxed start to your adventure. You will need time for paperwork and a brief training session. If you arrive late and miss your appointment, or cancel on the day, there are no refunds.   We will attempt to put you into a later time slot if available but there is no guarantee.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement.  Shorts should reach mid-thigh or longer to allow for a comfortable fit of the safety harness.  Shoes should be comfortable and flat soled, such as sneakers or hiking boots.  No open-toed or open-back shoes. Please note: Daredevil Zipline staff reserve the right to disallow the use of any personal equipment and will use their judgment to decide whether the guest can proceed with the zip adventure.

Q: Are there any age, height, or weight restrictions?

A: Participants must be 10 years of age, weigh between 50 and 250 lbs. and must be between 4' 6" and 6'10" tall.  Guests between the ages of 10 and 15 (inclusive) must have a participating parent/guardian on the zip adventure.

Q: Can my son or daughter under 18 years old go through the zip adventure alone?

A: Ages 10-15 (inclusive) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  Zip tour riders must be willing and able to operate the equipment on their own as each zip tour rider will ride each line independently. Ages 16-17(inclusive): A parent must sign the waiver which can be printed from our website.  If the parent/guardian is not accompanying the minor, the liability release must be notarized.

Q: Is there any paperwork to fill out?

A: All participants must complete a Release of Liability prior to beginning the adventure.  A signature from a parent/guardian is required for all participants under the age of 18.  If a minor is coming to Daredevil Ziplines without a parent/guardian, the liability release must be signed and notarized.  Liability releases can be downloaded off the website.

Q: Is it safe?

A: Safety is paramount with Daredevil Ziplines.  The equipment is state of the art and the Guide Staff will provide training on the use of the equipment to keep the ride safe and FUN!  We will guide you through the safety protocol, teach you how to use the safety equipment, and make you feel confident that you will be safe throughout the adventure.

Q: What happens in bad weather?

A: We will not operate during thunderstorms for obvious reasons. Our staff will contact you if we have advanced notice of inclement weather and need to reschedule.  If the weather is marginal, please call us for a status update.  Do not assume we have canceled the tour if you have bad weather where you are, we may have sunny skies!

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Cancellation 5 days prior to reservation--full refund.  For groups--cancellation 10 days prior--full refund.  Cancellations 48 hours prior--reschedule.  No call for cancellation or no show--loss of payment.

Q: Can I do the course if I'm pregnant?

Q:  Do you provide gloves for ziplining?

A: Our lines are engineered for gravity braking which is safer and a lot more fun.  No gloves are required because you don't have to use them to brake yourself.
